A possibly science-related weblog that probably focuses a bit on agriculture, plant science, gardening, and related bits.

I'm a freelance writer/editor with a focus on science and gardening--sometimes even both together.

Intense! Great drainage, I’m sure, but imagine having to water these twice or thrice a day in the summer. Could be a great, manageable setup for an apartment balcony garden, however! So many things can grow in the space a milk crate offers, even a nice dwarf tomato plant!

portable farm -> milk crates (they moved the entire farm inside during Hurricane Irene!)

Riverpark Farms NYC

that is intense, the whole farm!?

Love it all
